HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to prodeed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-223 NINETEENTH STREET, From the West line of Liberty
Avenue to the west line of Collins Avenue, to be
paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved,
to a width of twenty-nine (29) feet with a
bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock
base.
Together with necessary drainage and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street and Avenues are shown on Plats recorded
in Plat Book Five (5) , at Pages Seven (7) and Eight (8) ,
and in Plat BookTwo (2) , Page Seventy-seven (77)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as
said Street and Avenues are named and designated in
Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specificattons and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and
any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-223, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-223.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1gth DAY OF OCTOBER, A.D.1939.
