Resolution 5040 RESOLUTION NO. 5040
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the
Miami Beach City Council through editorials in local news-
papers, that charges of fraudulent registration are being
made at Miami Beach, and since we believe that any such
practice is Un-American and that Miami Beach should exert
every effort to stamp out any trend of this kind,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a special investigator
be appointed by the City Clerk to assist him from this date
until the General City Election to be held in June, 1941,
to investigate each and every registrant on Miami Beach to
determine their proper qualifications to vote in elections
to be held in this City.
