A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, TO
BUILD, ERECT AND CONSTRUCT A MUNICIPAL
HOSPITAL WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
requested by a large number of citizens of the said City to con-
struct, maintain and operate a Municipal Hospital within the City
limits of the said City, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of Miami Beach, Florida, is of the
opinion that there is a need for a Municipal Hospital in the City
Limits of Miami Beach, Florida, therefore in consideration thereof,
BE IT RESOLVED FY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That there be constructed in the City Limits of Miami
Beach, Florida, a Municipal Hospital for the benefit of
the citizens, residents and visitors of the said Miami Beach, Florida.
SECTION 2. That a special election be held on a date to be set for
the purpose of voting upon the bond issue in the amount of
Three Hundred Thousand ( 400,000.00) Dollars for the construction,
erection and building and equipment of the said Miami Beach Municipal
Hospital .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this the 7th day of May, A. D. , 1941.
