A RESOLUTION DESCRIBING THE FORM OF
BALLOT TO BE USED AT THi; GENERAL CITY
ELECTION JUNE 3RD, 1941.
WHEREAS, separate petitions were filed with the City Clerk,
not more than sixty nor less than twenty days, prior to the
General Election to be held on June 3rd, 1941, asking the follow-
ing named persons to be candidates for the office of Councilman
of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
A. Samuel Bender Harry McCarthy
William Burbridge Joseph Mechlow
Ben Cohen Baron De Hirsch Meyer
Franklin Ford James B. Quinn
John C . Frazure Walter E. Kuhlman
Herbert A. Frink Phillip Tepper
Buck Grundy Chas. S. Tobin
John H. Levi Mitchell olfson
and
WHEREAS, each of said petitions were signed by twenty-five
or more electors of the City of Miami Beach who are qualified to
participate in the said General Election to be held on June 3rd,
1941, and
HERAS, each of said above named candidates so petitioned,
is qualified to participate as an elector in the said General
Election,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk cause to be
prepared a sufficient number of ballots for use of absentee voters
patticipating in said General Election pursuant to the provisions
of the law, which ballot shall be In substantially the follo%t ng
form:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk cause to be pre-
pared two sets of official ballots for each polling place for
each el_eetion district for use in and upon the voting machine .
Said Clerk shall also provide two sample ballots as provided by
law for instruction of voters and shall furnish to the election
officials at each polling place a sufficient number of sample
ballots so that one may be given to each voter desiring same.
