Resolution 5467 RESOLUTION NO. 5467 A RESOLUTION AMENDING R ESOLUTION NO. 5448, PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JANUARY 21ST, A. D. , 1942, SO AS TO MODIFY AND REDUCE THE ASSESS- MENTS AGAINST LOTS 13 AND 14, BLOCK 24, AMENDED MAP OF THE OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY OF THE MIAMI BEACH IMPROVEMENT COMPANY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the third and fourth paragraphs of Resolution No. 5448, passed and adopted on January 21st, 1942, now reading as follows: "NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Miami Beach, Florida, that the prima facie assessments as indicated on said preliminary assessment roll, b e and are in all things confirmed and sustained against any and all lots or parcels of ground described therein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sums and amounts assessed against each of the lots or parcels of ground described in said preliminary assessment roll, and the sums and amounts against each of the lots or parcels of ground therein set forth are less than the amounts each lot or parcel of ground is benefited by said improvement, and that the total assessments as indicated on said assessment roll in the sum of Two Thousand Four Hundred Forty-nine and 68/100 ($2,449.68) Dollars, are hereby approved and confirmed." be and the same are hereby amended to read as follows: "NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Miami Beach, Florida, that the prima facie assessments as indicated on said preliminary assessment roll, be and are, in all things confirmed, and sustained against any and all lots or parcels of ground described therein except as to the following described lots or parcels against which said assessment 1g modified and reduced, the amount by which said assessment is hereby reduced being hereby charged to the City at large, so that the assessment shall be as follows , it being hereby decided that the special benefits to said lots, on account of the reasons given, are those benefits as stated below, after such reduction and modification: MODIFICATION AND REDUCTION OF ': ASSESSMENTS ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR HIGHWAY DISTRICT H-261 Description Reason for Adjustment Present Assessment Recommended Assessment Amended Map of the Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach Improvement Company as per Plat recorded in Plat Book 5, Pages 7 & 8 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. i Lot 13, Block 24 Curb and gutter adjacent 100' @ 3.983219 Lot 13 398.32 to these two lots was in- $ 398.32eLe ss credit Lot 14, Block 24 stalled prior to construc- 40' @ 3.983219 for curb & tion of H-261; was billed $ 159.33 gutter 97.26 and paid for under Job Order 301.0 2223.
