Resolution 5671 RESOLUTION NO. 5671
WHEREAS, Robert W. Ralston has been a useful and patriotic
citizen of Dade County, Florida, for more than thirty-two years,
having been active in all of the affairs of the community, having
been instrumental in the investment of large sums of money in this
locality, and having been the builder of not only the first but
several of the first large buildings of the community, and
WHEREAS, in addition to his many and varied services to the
entire community of Greater Miami, Robert \h. Ralston has served
loyally and efficiently for a period of more than ten years as a
member of the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, a
period marked by unparalleled development and progress on the part
of said City, in which service he consulted the best interests of
said City in his every act and deed, and
WHEREAS, whatever claims the City of Miami Beach may have as
a model city, efficiently operated, are due in part to the services
as such City Councilman by Robert N. Ralston, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make public record, as
well as give expression to its appreciation of the long and faith-
ful service of Robert N. Ralston,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, does hereby publicly express its
thanks to Robert W. Ralston for his many services to said City,
does hereby express the hope that said City shall continue to have
his deep interest and the benefit of his advice, and does hereby
extend to Robert W. Ralston individual good wishes of the members
of said City Council for his future happiness, prosperity and good
health.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread
upon the records of the City in the customary manner, that copies
thereof be furnished to the press and that the suitably engrossed
original be presented to Robert N. Ralston,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of June A. D. , 1943.
