Resolution 6017 RESOLUTION NO. 6017
WHEREAS, an application is now pending by Oceam Towing
Company before the United States District Engineer, Jacksonville,
Florida, for a permit to dredge in the straits of Florida, 1500
feet seaward of the Easterly shores of Virginia Key and Biscayne
Key, and
WH, H.EAS, the City Manager has heretofore protested the grant-
ing of said application and the issuing of a permit therefor in
the name of and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
NOW, TH -MilEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that said action of the City Manager be
and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution
be mailed, by the City Clerk, to the United States District Engineer.
