HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter.
H-289 BAY ROAD AND WEST AVENUE, From Dade Boulevard to Twentieth (20th)
Street ; Eighteenth (18th) Street from Purdy Avenue to North Bay
Road, to be paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a
width of forty (40) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on a
ten (10) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage , sewer inlets and catch basins,
and improved on both sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Avenue , Road, Streets and Boulevard are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book. Six (6) , rage One Hundred Fifteen (115) ,
Plat Book Nine (9) , tares One Hundred Forty-six ( 146) , and One
Hundred Forty-four (144) , Plat Book Twenty-one ( 21 ) , Page
Thirty (30) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation
of Clans and Specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-289 ; and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-289.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 26th DAY OF June A.D. 1946
