SANITARY SEWER LATERAL DISTRICT
IMPROVEMENT SL-21 SL-21
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter :
SL-21 The laying underground of six (6 ) inch terra
cotta sewer laterals as a separate improvement
from the existing sanitary sewer to the line
of Lot Fourteen (14) , Block Fifty-one (51) and
Lots Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) , Block
Fifty-four (54) , Orchard Subdivision Nos. 2 & 3.
In Nest Fortieth (40th) Street from east line
Royal Palm Avenue to east Line Lot Eighteen (18) ,
Block Fifty-four (54) , Orchard Subdivision Nos.
2 & 3.
As said Street, Avenue , Lots , Blocks , and Sub-
division are shown on a plat recorded in Plat
Book Eight (8) , Page One hundred sixteen (116 )
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida
and as said Royal Palm Avenue is named and des-
ignated in Ordinance No. 252.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement with an estimate
of the cost, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of pre-
liminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates , the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction , legal services , abstracts , etc . ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceed-
ings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against the abutting property for each sewer lateral.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-21, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SL-21.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF April A . D. 1947.
