Dear Henry,
Carl Fisher was slick. One of the letters I sent
you March 15 has him saying, in obvious defense to
allegations that he was anti-Semitic, that Julius
Fleischmann was one of his best friends.
He didn 't say Fleishmann was Jewish, however; just
left that impression. It intrigued me and I
searched out Fleishmann 's 1925 obituary. The man
wasn 't Jewish , he was a Unitarian. Nice bluff ,
