WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-45 Loth sides of Alton Road from Fifth (5th)
Street to Fifteenth ( 15th) Street.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting
system of ornamental posts and lamps at
approximately one hundred thirty ( 130)
feet apart on each side with underground
connections for lighting.
As said Alton Road, Fifth (5th) Street and
Fifteenth (15th) Street are shown on plats
recorded in Plat Book Two (2) , Page Eighty-
one (81) , Plat Book Six (6) , Page Five (5) ,
Plat Book Seven (7) , Pages Fifteen ( 15) and
one hundred sixty (160) , Plat Book Twenty-
one (21) , Page Eighty-three (83) , and Plat
Book Twenty-eight (28) , Page Thirty-four
(34) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construc-
tion, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses neces-
sary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein pro-
vided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-45, and the property against
Which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District W-45.
