RESOLUTION NO . 6803
WHEREAS, Dr. Alfred J. Silberman has offered to
sell and convey to the City of Miami Beach for the cash sum
of $15,000.00, the following described lands situate, lying
and being in Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit:
Lots 20 and 21 of Block 11 of
ORCHARD SUBDIVISION NO. 4, ac-
cording to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 25, at page 30, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
free and clear of all encumbrances except taxes for the year
1949 which are to be pro-rated as of the date of closing, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be for the best interest
of said City to acquire said land at said price for the purpose
of off-street parking of automobiles,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said offer he and the
same is hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and
he is hereby authorized and directed, in the name of and on behalf
of said City, to purchase said property at said price upon approval
of the title by the City Attorney, the purchase price of said
property to be paid by said City Manager out of funds of said
City available for said purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16thday of February, A. D. 1949.
