WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WW-67 WW-6?
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-67 Both sides of Collins Avenue from Fifth ( 5th)
Street to Fifteenth (15th) Street .
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred sixty (160) feet apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Collins Avenue , Fifth (5th) Street ,
and Fifteenth ( 15th) Street are shown on Plats
recorded. in Plat Book Four (4) , Page Eighty-
three (83) ; Plat Book Three(3) , Page Pleven
( 11) ; Plat Book Two (2) , Page Fifty-six ( 56) ;
Plat Book Seven (7) , Page One Hundred Forty-
five (145) ; Plat Book Nine (9) , Page Seventy-
three ( 73) ; Plat Book Two ( 2) , Page Seventy-
seven ( 77) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida; and as said Collins Avenue and Fifteenth
( 15th) Street are named and designated in the
City of Miami Beach .Ordinance No . 232.
The City Engineer is hereby` directed to prepare and file with the
City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other survey$ , the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates , the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts , etc . , and any other ex-
penses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-67, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as '!7W-67.
