BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That on and after January 23rd, 1950, all withdrawals
of funds from the City of Miami Beach accounts in
City Depositories described as follows:
In Miami Beach First National Bank
Account designated "City of Miami Beach"
In North Shore Bank
Account designated "City of Miami Beach"
In Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach
Accounts designated: "City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Special
Payroll Account"
"City of Miami Beach - Meter
Account"
"City Pension Fund for Firemen
and Policemen in the
City of Miami Beach"
"City of Miami Beach Firemen' s
Relief and Pension Fund",
shall be upon official vouchers duly prepared and bearing the
various designations as given above, each bearing two signatures,
as follows:
By C. W. TOMLINSON, as City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason,
By D. J. CLEARY, as Deputy City Clerk
countersigned by
CLAUDE A. RENSHAW, as City Manager,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason,
By H. M. LINK, as Assistant City Manager,
or in the absence of both or their inability to act for any
reason,
By MARGARET L. MAC KAY, as Secretary,
with the further provision as to the account carried in The Mer-
cantile National Bank of Miami Beach, designated "Special
Payroll Account", withdrawals of funds from which shall be upon
regular City of Miami Beach checks, each of which shall be
designated "Payroll Check"; each bearing two signatures as above
set forth, or bearing the signature consisting of the background
and other identifying symbols and facsimile signatures, including
the colors thereof, as is imprinted on the sample check attached
hereto and made a part hereof; and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to use said signature in connection with said account.
However, nothing herein contained shall prevent or make null and
void the use of the facsimile signature of Kenneth Thompson
instead and in lieu of that of H. M. Link on Special Payroll
Account checks up to and including January 31st, 1950.

SECTION 2: That on and after January 23rd, 1950, all withdrawals
of funds from that certain City of Miami Beach account
in The Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach designated "Over-
payment Account" shall be upon regular City of Miami Beach checks,
designated "Overpayment Account" and which checks shall have
plainly printed across the face thereof the words "NOT GOOD FOR
MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS", each bearing two signatures, as
follows:

or in his absence or inability to act for any reason,
By R. W. L. JOHNSON, as Deputy City Clerk,
countersigned by,
D. J. CLEARY, as Chief Accountant,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason,
By W. B. LEDDY, as Senior Accountant.
SECTION 3: That Resolution No. 6425 and all other resolutions or
acts of the City Council delegating authority for the
signature of City of Miami Beach vouchers or checks be and the
same are hereby voided and rescinded.
SECTION 4: That a certified copy hereof be delivered to each
City Depository.
