BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Oouncil hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the amity
Charter:
-92 Both sides of Liberty Avenue from Twenty-third
(23rd) Street to Collins Canal. =
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
or ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred eighty-five (185) feet apart on each
side with underground connections for lighting.
As said Avenue, Street and *,anal are shown on a
plat recorded in Plat Book Five ( 5) , Pages seven
(7) and Light (8) of the Public Records of made
County, Florida, and as said Street and Avenue
are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, includint an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of the preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,legal
services, abstracts , etc. ,and any other expenses necessary and proper
in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimates amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District ;* -92, and is described
as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Liberty Avenue and lying between Twenty-third
Street and Lollins Canal .
In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property, the
Ci Ly Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the Li ty such portion
of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total cost as the
length of the street intersections bears to the total street frontage
within the district.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as —iiteway Improvement WW-92, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District W-92.
