Mr. Carl G. Fisher,
Indianapolis, Ind.
Dear Lir. Fisher:
I have yours of the 28th and am very glad to heir you express
yourself as you have. I have no patience with this sort of thing myself and
was very much disappointed when I learned that the Council had given permission
to these people to hold wrestling matches at the Beach. I nn'lerstand they feel
they have the matter well in hand and at any time that the matches are not held
in a decent orderly way, they can shut it up. Anything of this character nat-
urally is likely to draw a crowd that cannot always be controlled without police
protection and in the permit it is the understanding that the peop-.e holding the
matches have to pay for this extra police protection. I am going to pass your
letter on to the Councilmen to read to let them know your feelings in the matter.
Yours very truly,
