Resolution 7212 RESOLUTION NO. 7212
WEEREAS, the City of Miami reach, Florida, is the Assignee
of the Lessor in that certain lease dated the 30th day of September,
1946, by and between ORANGE STATE OIL COMPANY as lessor and ALTON
BOAT COMPANY, INC. as lessee, which said lease is for a tern of
five years from October 1, 1946 to and including September 30, 1951,
covering the property described as follows:
Lot Twenty-Two, (22) except the East One Hundred
and Fifty ( 150) Feet thereof and Lot Twenty-One
(21) except the North Thirty (30) Feet of the
East One Hundred (100) Feet thereof and all of
Lot Twenty (20) , of block One hundred and Eleven
( 111) of OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO. 3 as per map
or Plat thereof recorded in Plat Look 2, at Page
81 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
together with any buildings hereafter erected there-
on and together with all driveways and street front
privileges.

;°WHEREAS, the said lease reserves to the Lessor the right
and option at any time during the term thereof to cancel said lease
on ninety (90) days written notice delivered to said Lessee, and

WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised and deems it
to be to the best interest of the City that said lease be canceled
and possession of said property be acquired by the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to prepare and serve such notices
and take such other steps as may be necessary, pursuant to the pro-
visions of said lease, to cancel the same and take possession of the
above described property on behalf of the City of Miami Beach at the
earliest possible date.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of June A.D. 1950.
