Resolution 7268 RESOLUTION NO. 7268
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami.
Beach, Florida, has been advised that through the efforts
of Claude D. Ritter, Jr. , Auditorium Manager, the personal
appearance of JEANETTE MacDONALD for a concert in the Miami
Beach Municipal Auditorium during the month of March, 1951 ,
has been negotiated with the Artist' s Manager, James A.
Davidson Management, Inc. , as agents, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared setting
forth the terms and conditions under which the said concert
will be presented, saidagreement to be entered into by and
between the said City and the said Artist, and to be dated the
17th day of August, 1950, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said agreement ,
and
WHEREAS, the City Councildeems it to be to the best
interest of the City to secure the said concert for presentation
in the Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium under the terms and pro-
visions as set forth in saidagreement,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above-described agreement on behalf of the City of Miami
Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to put and carry into effect the terms and provisions
undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of August, A. D. 1950.
