\\)0September 14, 1927.
To Our Miami Beach Property Owners, Stockholders and Investors:
There is now being constructed here on the ocean front, an
institution that will add to the allurements of Miami Beach,
one of the most attractive and distinctive Clubs in America.
The Bath Club was formed last winter by a group of our winter
Colony. They felt that many of our best families here wanted
pp a private Casino where only members of the Club and their
guests could enjoy the ocean bathing, pool swimming, social,
card and lounge rooms and Club dining and dancing privileges.
This group organized one hundred of their friends and formed
"The Bath Club". They have fully completed their plans and
have fully financed their operations.
The Bath Club is now erecting, north of the Firestone Estate,
a $150,000 structure on a site having 417 feet of ocean frontage
and running through to Indian Creek with 163 feet on that
Waterway.
One of the unusual features of The Bath Club will be the fifty- •
• seven; tent-like dressing rooms or "Cabanas" that will be built
on the beach. Each Cabana has two private dressing rooms, a
large shower room, a furnished living room, and an awning-
covered "boardwalk". Each Cabana will accommodate one or two
families. Over forty of these have already been leased for
the winter season. •
Society will probably meet en masse at The Bath Club this
winter for a dip in the surf and pool, or to enjoy the warm
sunshine and golden sand,--and at night our most brilliant
parties and entertainments will doubtless be held there.
The Bath Club will mean much in attracting and holding the
people who help make Miami Beach the winter magnet of Americafs
Who's Who.
s ver ,truly,
CWC/vh C. W. CHASE, JR.
