Resolution 7282 RESOLUTION NO. 7282 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is considering amending and changing certain regulations and resrictions established and contained in Ordinance No. 289 commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida", as hereinafter set forth, to-wit : To amend said ordinance and the maps attached thereto an' made a part thereof, so as to include in "cabana and swimming pool district" as said district is described and set forth in Section 13-A of said Ordinance, the following lands situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit : Bounded on the north by the northerly line of Lot 43, Block 1, SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, extended easterly; bounded on the south by the southerly line of Tract 1 of Bath Club property extended easterly; bounded on the east by the line described in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 766, as amended by Ordinance No. 335 of the City of Miami Beach; bounded on the west by a line des- cribed as follows: Beginning at a point which is on the southerly line of Tract 1 of the Bath Club Property, said point being 395 feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue; thence northerly along a straight line to a point on the northerly line -of Lot 21-A, extended easterly, Block 1, of the SEC= OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, said point being 240 feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue; thence northerly along a straight line to a point on the northerly line of Lot 21-H ex- tended easterly of said Block 1, said point being 290 feet easterly of the eastery line of Collins Avenue; thence northerly along a straight line to a point on the northerly line of Lot 22, ex- tended easterly, of said Block 1, said point being 240 feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue; thence northerly along a straight line to a point on the northerly line of Lot 25, ex- tended easterly, of said Block 1, said point being 260 feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue; thence northerly along a line parallel to and 260 feet easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue to a point on the northerly line of Lot 43, extended easterly, of said Block 1 of the SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVI3IOi , as said tract, lots block and avenue are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book 28, at page 28, and Plat Book 40, at page 14, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida . AND, to amend Section 16 of said ordinance to eliminate the requirement for side yards in that portion of Area District No. 40 which includes a "cabana and swimming pool district" . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby called to be held on the 18th day of October, A. D. 0at 10:00 o'clock A.N. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, iami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendments . -1- OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY - CITY HALL - MIAMI BEACH 39, FLORIDA • BF IT FUIITHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give at least fifteen days ' notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof in the Florida Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in said City of Miami Beach, in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance No. 289 of said City.
