Resolution 7291 RESOLUTION NO. 7291
WHEREAS, the benefits of a living democracy can be
insured to the American people only by the effective
expression of its representative voice and will, and
WHEREAS, the ballot box in a free election is now,
more than ever, the most certain and direct means of
effecting such expression, and
WHEREAS, the forthcoming elections on November 7th,
1950, are of vital importance to the citizens of Miami
Beach as well as those of Dade County and of the State of
Florida as to all matters and questions presented on the
ballot,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that each citizen of
Miami Beach, eligible to vote, is hereby called upon, in
the public interest, to perform his American and democratic
duty to himself and to his fellow citizens by casting his
ballot in the election of November 7th, 1950.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 25th day of October, A. D.
