Resolution 7366 RESOLUTION NO. 7366
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that through the efforts of Claude
D. Ritter, Jr. , Auditorium Manager, the personal appearance
of MARIO LANZA, for a concert in the Miami Beach Municipal
Auditorium during the month of March, 1951, has been negotiated
with the Artist's Manager, Columbia Artists Management, Inc . ,
as agent, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared setting forth the
terms and coditions under which the said concert will be pre-
sented, said agreement to be entered into by and between the said
City and the said Artist, and dated the 7th day of December,
1950, and r
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is familiar
with the terms and provisions of the said agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest
of the City to secure the said concert for presentation in the
Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium under the terms and provisions
as set forth in said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-described
agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, and that the Auditorium
Manager, is hereby authorized and directed to put and carry into effect
the terms and provisions undertaken therein by the City.
