WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WW-94 WW-94
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-94 Both sides of Dade Boulevard from Biscayne Bay
to Pine Tree Drive.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred sixty (160) feet apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Boulevard, Bay and Drive are shown on
plats recorded in Plat Book Six (6) , Page One
Hundred Fifteen (115) , Plat Book Thirty (30) ,
Page nineteen (19 ) , Plat Book Twenty-one (21) ,
Page Thirty (30) and Thirty-one (31) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed co prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of the preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal
services , abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper
in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW-94, and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Dade i$oulevard and lying between Biscayne Bay
and Pine Tree Drive.
In estimating the amount to De assessed against abutting property, the
City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such portion
of the total coat as shall bear the same ratio to the total cost as
the length of street intersections and city property bears to the total
street frontage within the district.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-91 , and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District WW-94.
