SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-147 DISTRICT SK-147
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-147 A two and one half (2i) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides
of Dickens Avenue from 71st Street to a point at or near the
northerly line of Normandy Beach South, and from 75th Street
to Tatum Waterway Drives Tatum Waterway Drive from a point
at or near the northerly line of 79th Street to a point at
or near the northerly line of 81st Street and Byron Avenue
from a point at or near the northerly line of 81st Street to
a point at or near the northerly line of Haynsworth Beach
Subdivision.
As said Avenues, Drive and Streets and Subdivision are shown
on Plats recorded in Plat Book Twenty-one (21) , Page Fifty-four
(54) , Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one (41) , and Plat Book
Forty-one (41) , Page Two (2) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Dickens Avenue, 71st Street,
79th Street and 81st Street are named and designated in
Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of
preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc . ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-147, and is described
as follows :

}, c All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Dickens Avenue
and lying between 71st Street and a point at or near the
northerly line of Normandy Beach South and lying between 75th
Street and Tatum Waterway Drive; all the lots or parcels of
land abutting on Tatum Waterway Drive and lying between a
point at or near the northerly line of 79th Street and a point
at or near the northerly line of 81st Street, and all of the
lots or parcels of land abutting on Byron Avenue and lying
between a point at or near the northerly line of 81st Street
and a point at or near the northerly line of Haynsworth Beach
Subdivision.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-147, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-147.
