Resolution 7754 RESOLUTION NO. 7754 WHEREAS, ST. FriANCIS HOSPITAL, INC . has consented to lease to the City of Miami Beach, for use as an abutment of and approach to a temporary bridge across Indian Creek, that certain parcel of land situate in Miami Beach, Florida, described as follows, to wit:- Lot Two (2) of INDIAN CREEK SUBDIVISION, according to the Flat thereof, recorded. in Flat Book 31, page 75, of the Public Records of Dade C©iinty, Florida, the term of said lease shall be for a period of three (3) years from the 1st day of September, 1951, and the City to pay an aggregate rental therefor of Twenty Three Hundred and no/100 ($2,300.00) Dollars in cash, and W7 EAS, the City Council deems it to be to the best interest of the City to enter into said lease upon the terms and conditions contained in a draft of the proposed lease here- tofore prepared and presented by the City Attorney, with the contents of which the City Council is familiar, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the 0ity Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the Cfy Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute said lease in the name of and on behalf of said City, and the disbursing officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized. and directed to disburse the sums required to be disbursed by the terms of said lease out of funds of the City available for said. purpose. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the City shall re- deliver the leased premises to the lessor prior to the expira- tion of the term of the Pease, the City will not request nor demand. an abatement of the rents provided for in said lease. • PASSED and.
