Resolution 7766 • RESOLUTION NO. 7766 WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT WW-104 WW-lot BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA: That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter: WW-104 Both sides of Prairie Avenue, Royal Palm Avenue and Sheridan Avenue from West Fortieth (40th) Street to West Forty-second (42nd) Street. To be improved with a whiteway lighting system of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately one hundred sixty (160) feet apart on each side with underground connections for lighting. As said Avenues and Streets are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book Forty (40) , Page Forty-seven (47) , Plat Book Eight (8) , Page one hundred sixteen (116) , Plat Book Twenty-five (25) , Page Thirty (30) , and Plat Book Twenty-three (23) , Page Sixt;,,-six (66) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Royal Palm Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance No. 252, end as said West Forty-second (102nd) Street is named and designated in Ordinance No. 303 . The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the print- ing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and ork herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property. The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW-104, and is described as follows: All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Prairie Avenue, Royal ralm Avenue and Sheridan Avenue , and lying between West Fortieth (40th) Street and West Forty-second (42nd) Street. In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property, the City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such portion of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total cost as the length of the street intersectiord bears to the total street frontage within the district. This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-104, and the property against which assess- ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District WW-104.
