HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-351

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
11-351 Lenox Avenue from Fourth (Ljth) Street to Fifth (5th)
Street to be paved and where heretofore paved to be
repaved to a width of fifty (50) feet with a bituminous
wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base, together
with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes and
catch b asii?s, and improved on both sides with a concrete
curb and gutter.
As said Avenue and Streets are shown on Plats recorded in
Plat Book Two (2) , Page Eighty-one (81) , Plat Book Six
(6) , Page Sixty-two (62) , Plat Book Twenty-six (26) , Page
Sixty-two (62) , and Plat Book Thirty-eight (38) , Page
Sixty-nine (69) , of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Lenox Avenue is named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including az estimate of the cost of the expenses of
preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the pre aration of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and
any oher expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-351 and is described
as follows:
All the lots or parcels of land abutting on Lenox Avenue
and lying between Fourth (4.th) Street and Fifth (5th)
Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement 11-351, and the property against which a. ssess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District 11-351.
