Resolution 8121 RESOLUTION NO. 8121
WHEREAS, we have been informed that one of our pioneer
residents is planning to retire and return to his native
land; and
WHEREAS, we cannot allow his departure from our City
to pass without properly expressing our lasting gratitude
for the time and effort he so freely and cheerfully gave
to the planning and landscape architecture of Miami Beach
and the plants he so generously donated that are now adding
to our natural wonders;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members
of the City Council of Miami Beach, Florida, do unanimously
extend to our friend, Mr. Kotaro Suto, our sincere thanks
and deep appreciation for his contribution in helping to
beautify our world-famed City. If success in life is
measured in terms of service, the life of Mr. Suto has been
an eminently successful one . We welcome this opportunity
to do him honor and wish him all the satisfactions of a
life of great usefulness .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be presented to Mr. Suto so that he may have a tangible
testimonial of our very true regard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of September, A.D.
