4HEREhS, by the terms of that certain plat recorded in
Plat Book Twenty-one (21) at Page Fifty-four (54) of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, there was reserved for perpetual
use for wire lines, pipe lines, poles, sewers, water mains, etc. ,
the following described land situate, lying and being in Dade
County, Florida, to-wit:
The easterly Five (5) feet of Lots One
(1) and Two (2) and the westerly Five
(5) feet of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve
(12) , Block Sixteen (16) , of NORMAHIDY
BEACH SOUTH, according to the Plat there-
of, recorded in Plat Book 21, at page 54,
of the Public itecords of Dade County,
Florida.
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said lands have requested the
City of Eiami Beach to relinquish and surrender all rights con-
1 ferred upon or granted to said City by virtue of said Plat as to
the lands herein before described,
and
WiEREAS, said owners have offered, in consideration of
such relinquishment and surrender, to grant to the City of I,liami
3each anteasement over and across the following described lands,
situate, lying and being in Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
The southerly Ten (10) feet of Lot Two
(2) and the southerly Five (5) feet of
Lot Eleven (11) , Block Sixteen (16) ;
AZ]) that certain tract of land described
as follows:
Begin at a point on the northerly line of
Lot Eleven (11) , Block Sixteen (16) ,
NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH, said point being Ten
(10) feet easterly of the westerly line of
said Lot Eleven (11) ; thence run southerly
along a line at right angles to the said
northerly line of Lot eleven (11) , a dis-
tance of Forty (40) feet, more or less,
to a point Ten (10) feet northerly of the
southerly line of Lot Two (2) , said Block
Sixteen (16) ; thence run easterly along a
line parallel to and Ten (10) feet north-
erly of the southerly line of said Lot Two
(2) , a distance of Five (5) feet; thence
northerly along a line at right angles to
the southerly line of said Lot Two (2) , a
distance of Forty (40) feet, more or less
to the northerly line of said Lot Eleven (11) ;
thence westerly along the northerly line of
Lot Eleven (11) , a distance of Five (5) feet
to the point of beginning;
All being in NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH, according
to the Plat thereof recorded in lat Book 21,
at page 54, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.

AND WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared and submitted
instruments for execution by said City accomplishing the exchange
of easements as above set forth,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
instruments in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to deliver said executed instru-
ments if, as and when there has been delivered to him a good and
sufficient grant unto the City of Miami Beach, Florida, of a
perpetual easement over, under and across the southerly ten (10)
feet of Lot Two (2) , and the southerly five (5) feet of Lot Eleven
(11) and that certain tract of land hereinbefore described, all
being in Block Sixteen (16) , Normandy Beach South above referred
to.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of January, A.D. 1953.
