Resolution 8396 RESOLUTION NO. 8396
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and
the inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for public street purposes,
for the use of said City and its inhabitants, the following des-
cribed land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, to-wit:
That certain portion of Lot Sixty-two (62) of
Block Seven (7) of SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
28, at page 28, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, described and bounded as follows, to-wit:
Bounded on the westerly side by the easterly boundary
of the westerly Fifteen (15) feet of said Lot Sixty-
two (62) ;
Bounded on the easterly side by a straight line from
a point on the southerly line of said Lot Sixty-two
(62) , said point being four and three-tenths (4.3)
feet, measured along said southerly line, easterly of
the above described westerly boundary, to the point
of intersection of the above described westerly boun-
dary with the northerly line of said Lot Sixty-two
(62) ;
Bounded on the southerly side by the southerly line
of said Lot Sixty-two (62) ;
AND ALSO
That certain portion of Lot Sixty-three (63) of
Block Seven (7) of SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 28, at page 28, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, described and bounded as follows :
Bounded on the westerly side by a line parallel to
and Fifteen (15) feet, measured at right angles,
easterly of the westerly line of said Lot Sixty-
three (63) ;
Bounded on the easterly side by a straight line
from a point on the southerly line of said Lot
Sixty-three (63) , said point being nine and nine-tenths
(9.9) feet, measured along said southerly line, eas-
terly of the above described westerly boundary, to a
point on the northerly line of said Lot Sixty-three
(63) , said point being four and three-tenths (4E.3)
feet, measured along said northerly line, easterly
of the above described westerly boundary;
Bounded on the southerly side by the southerly line
of said Lot Sixty-three (63) ;
Bounded on the northerly side by the northerly line
of said Lot Sixty-three (63) ;
AND ALSO
That certain portion of Lot Sixty-four (64) of Block
Seven (7) of SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION, according

TO THE Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 28,
at page 28, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, described and bounded as follows :
Bounded on the easterly side by a line parallel to
and Twenty-four and five-tenths (24.5) feet, mea-
sured at right angles, easterly of the tangent por-
tion of the westerly line of said Lot Sixty-four
(64) , and the southerly prolongation of said tangent,
said tangent portion being tangent to a circular
curve of 119 .93 feet radius, forming the south-
westerly and southerly boundary of said Lot Sixty-
four (64) ;
Bounded on the westerly side by a line parallel to
and nine and five-tenths (9 .5) feet, measured at
right angles, westerly of the above described easterly
boundary;
Bounded on the southerly side by the above-mentioned
southwesterly and southerly line of said Lot Sixty-
four (64) ;
Bounded on the northerly side by the northerly line
of said Lot Sixty-four (64) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary that the fee
simple title to the above-described property be acquired for use
and maintenance for public street purposes for the benefit of
said City and its inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal
proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of the right
of eminent domain for the condemnation of said property for said
purposes .
