Resolution 8616 RESOLUTION NO. 8616
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach has
been advised that the APPLIANCE AND ELECTRONICS DIVISION OF
VCO MANUFACTURING CORP. desires to lease the premises and
facilities of the Miami Beach Auditorium for the purpose of
a Distributors Meeting (Convention) from December 10 to 19,
1953 with certain exceptions , and
• IHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the Audi-
torium Manager and approved as to form by the City Attorney,
and
-JIHEREAS the City Council has been advised of and is fa-
miliar with the terms and provisions of said lease agreement
and deems it to be to the best interest of the City to autho-
rize the execution of said lease agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
above described lease agreement on behalf of the City of Miami
Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions
undertaken therein by the City.
