SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-175 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the north side
of Thirty-Fourth (34th) Street from Collins Avenue
to a point at or near Two Hundred Seventy-Five (275)
feet east of Collins Avenue and on the south side of
Thirty-Fourth (34th) Street from a point at or near
One Hundred Eighty Five (185) feet east of Collins
Avenue to a point at or near Two Hundred Seventy-Five
(275) feet east of Collins Avenue .
As said Thirty-Fourth (34th) Street and Collins Avenue
are shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book Five (5) ,
Pages Seven (7) and Eight (8) of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, and as said Thirty-Fourth(34th)
Street is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with. the
City Clerk , Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary andother surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for ; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot
of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-175 and is des-
cribed as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the
north side of Thirty-Fourth (34th) Street and lying
between Collins Avenue and a point at or near Two
Hundred Seventy-Five (275) feet east of Collins Avenue
and all of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the
south side of Thirty-Fourth (34th) Street and lying
between a point at or near One Hundred Eighty Five
(185) feet east of Collins Avenue and the Atlantic
Ocean.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-175, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SK-175.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of October ,A.D. 19514.
