RESOLUTION NO. 8868
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-379 DISTRICT H-379
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is here-
by ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its in-
tention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-379 Carlyle Avenue from Seventy-fifth (75) Street to
Eightieth (80) Streetto be paved, and where hereto-
fore paved to be repaved to a width of thirty-nine
(39) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on a
ten (10) inch rock base, and improved on both sides
with concrete curb and gutter.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, man-
holes and catch basins.
As said Avenue and Streets are shown on Plats record-
ed in Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one (4.1) and
Plat Book Forty-six (46), Page Two (2) of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said Avenue
and Streets are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
Cl.ty Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifi-
cations and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-379, and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Carlyle Avenue and lying between Seventy-Fifth
(75) Street and Eightieth (80) Street.
This improvement shall be desLgnated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-379, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost there-
of shall be designated as District H-379.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF March, A.D. 1955.
