HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-416 H-416
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is here-
by ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its
intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-416 Alton Road, from Nineteenth (19th) Street to Sixty-third
(63rd) Street to be paved, and where heretofore paved to
be repaved with two (2) thirty-two (32 ) foot pavements
with bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock
base, with a central park and improved on both sides with
concrete curb and gutter and the central park to be im-
proved on both sides with a concrete curb.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes,
and catch basins.
As said Alton Road, Nineteenth (19th) Street and Sixty-
third (63rd) Street are shown on Plats 'recorded in Plat
Book 9, Page 1)11 , Plat Book 8, Page 52, Plat Book 40,
Page 69, Plat Book 9, Page 145, Plat Book 40, Page 12,
Plat Book 31, Page 9, Plat Book 8, Page 95, Plat Book
34, Page 92, Plot Book 35, Page 46, Plat Book 39, Page
8, Plat Book 34, Page 47, Plat Book 8, Page 130, Plat
book 14, Page 112, Plat Book 27, Page 5, Plat Book 14,
Page 43 and Plat Book 16, Page 10, of the Public Re-
cords of Dade County, Florida, and as said Sixty-third
(63rd) Street is named and designated in Ordinance No.
303.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications, of said improvement,
and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspect-
ion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest dur-
ing construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ; and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property,
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-416
and is described as follows :
All of the Lots, or Parcels of land abutting on
Alton Road and lying between Nineteenth (19th) Street
and Sixty-third (63rd) Street.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-416, and the property
against which assessment therefor may be made for the cost there-
of shall be designated as District H-416.
