HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-417 DISTRICT H-417
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIA4I BEACH,
FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-147 Alton Road from Nineteenth (19th) Street to Biscayne
Waterway to be paved, and where heretofore paved to
be repaved with two (2) thirty-two (32) foot pave-
ments with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10)
inch rock base, with a central park, and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter and the central park
to be improved on both sides with a concrete curb.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes,
and catch basins.
As said Alton Road, Nineteenth (19th) Street and Biscayne
Waterway are shown on plats recorded in Plat Book 9,
Page 1Y1 ; Plat Book 8, Page 52; Plat Book 40, Page 69;
Plat Book 9, Page 145 and Plat Book 40, Page 12, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement
and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of
the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the
inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publi-
cation of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,etc.,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-417
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or Parcels of land abutting on Alton
Road, and lying between 19th Street and Biscayne
Waterway,
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H- 17 and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District H-417
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th DAY OF April, A.D.1955
