SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2018-001-KB, for
Water, Sanitary, Storm and Street Light Utility Locating Services
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2018-001-KB,which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s)
for Water, Sanitary, Storm and Street Light Utility Locating Services on an as needed basis.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on Monday, July 30, 2018. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established
in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Michael Atkin, Superintendent — Greenspace, Public Works Department, City of Miami
Beach
• Brian Bellino, Surveyor Manager, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Carla Dixon, Capital Projects Coordinator, Capital Improvement Projects, City of Miami
Beach
• Desir Lys, Water Field Operations Supervisor, Public Works Department, City of Miami
Beach
I am also considering the following individual as an alternate:
• Jay Fink, Assistant Director, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Rodney Knowles, Greenspace Division Director, Public Works Department, City of Miami
Beach
