Resolution 9076 RESOLUTION NO. 9076
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida has been advised that the AMERICAN LEGION
1955 CONVENTION CORP . OF FLORIDA desires to lease the
premises and facilities of the Miami Beach Auditorium
for the purpose of a Convention and all activities connected
therewith to be held commencing on the 10th day o" October,
1955 to and including the 13th day of October, 1955, the
said corporation to have from noon October 8 and all of
October 9, 1955 to move in, decorate and hold rehearsals, and
October 14, 1955 until Noon, to remove decorations, and to
have the use of 4 committee rooms from October 3 to 14, 1955
inclusive; and
WI- EREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by
the Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City
Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and
is familiar with the terms and provisions of said lease
agreement and deems it to be for the best interest of the
City to authorize the execution of said lease agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the above described lease agreement on behalf of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and that the Auditorium
Manager is hereby authorized and directed to carry into
effect the terms and provisions undertaken therein by the
City.
