Resolution 9182 RESOLUTION NO. 9182
WHEREAS, by agreement recorded in Deed Book 1782, page
363, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, the parti3s
thereto, to-wit: Artlin, Inc . ; Universal Corp. ; and Oxford
Gardens, Inc . , agreed to grant to the City of Miami Beach, an
easement for a circular turning space, or turning point, and
��- for sidewalk purposes on certain portions of Block "A" and
Block "B" of Ocean Front Property of Miami Beach Improvement
Co . , Plat Book 5 , pages 7 & 8, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, said portions being particularly described
in and by that certain sketch attached to and made a part of
said recorded agreement, and being a portion of Twentieth
Street, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach in reliance on said agree-
ment has duly established and entered upon said described portions
of said Blocks "A" and "B" and has paved the same, and has con-
structed concrete curbs and gutters thereon, and has thereafter
maintained the same for public street purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach deems
it necessary that said described portions of said Blocks "A" and
"B" be continued and maintained for public street purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Attorney be and he
is hereby instructed to call upon and to procure from the parties
to said agreement, or their successors and assigns, a formal grant
or dedication to the Citof Miami Beach of the said described
portions of said Blocks "A" and "B" as a turning space and side-
walk on the street known and designated as Twentieth Street within
the City of Miami Beach, in accordance with the terms and provi-
sions of said agreement .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of December, A. D. 1955.
