RESOLUTION NO. 9216
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-434 H-434
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to Proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-434 Alley between Hardi g Avenue and Abbott Avenue
from Seventy-first 7lst) Street to the North
I line of Normandy Beach South Subdivision, to be
paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved,
to a width of twenty (20) feet with a bituminous
wearing surface on an eight (8) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins.
As said Alley, Avenues and Normandy Beach South
Subdivision are shown on a Plat recorded in Plat
Book twenty-one (21) , Page Fifty-four (5Lt.) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,the
printing and Duplication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-434, and is described
as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
the alley between Harding Avenue and Abbott Avenue
and lying between Seventy-first (71st ) Street, and
the North line of Normandy Beach South Subdivision
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-4,3L+, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District H-434
