Resolution 9253 RESOLUTION NO. 9253
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
desires to obtain a restudy of those features of a comprehensive
City plan previously prepared for the City in 1940, containing
reports of population, land use and zoning, major streets and
parking, schools and parks, and housing, and in addition thereto
an analysis of the public works program of the City of Miami
Beach, and
WHEREAS Harland Bartholomew, Russell A. Riley,
Harry W . Alexander and Eldridge Lovelace, a partnership doing
business as Harland Bartholomew and Associates, are willing
to furnish such restudy, and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has prepared an agreement
between the City and the said Harland Bartholomew and Associates,
with the terms of which the City Council is familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
