WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has
been duly notified of a public hearing to be held
by the Florida Railroad and Public Utilities
Commission on Monday, October 29, 1956 on an
application of Twin City Transit Company for a
certificate of public convenience and necessity
authorizing it to extend its service to the City
of Surfside, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach is opposed to the granting of such
certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be
filed with said Railroad Commission and that the
Acting City Attorney of the City of Miami Beach
be and he is hereby requested and directed to
appear and participate in said hearing in opposition
to the granting of said certificate.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of
October, A.D. 1956.
