Resolution 9367 RESOLUTION NO. 9367
WHEREAS, an agreement has been duly prepared and
submitted to the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
providing for the sale to the Board of Public Instruction
of Dade County, Florida, of a five (5) acre portion of land
commonly known as the "old Municipal Golf Course" , and also
providing that an additional adjoining fifteen (15) acre
tract thereof shall be made available for certain school
purposes under certain conditions; the conditions of such
sale and for the use of said fifteen (15) acre tract being
fully set forth in said agreement, together with a particular
and precise description of said parcels of land, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach is familiar with the terms and provisions of said
proposed agreement, and nog, finds and determines that said
proposed agreement correctly sets forth the intent of the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, and
WHEREAS, the Acting City Attorney has approved
the form of said proposed agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
it OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute and deliver said agreement for and in the name of the
said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of December, A.D. 1956.
