BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-)4)45 Washington Court from Washington Avenue to Twenty-
second Street and Twenty-second Street from Washing-
ton Court to Park Avenue to be paved and, where
heretofore paved, to be repaved to a width of thirty-
nine (39) feet and forty-nine (49) feet respectively,
with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch
rock base and improved on both sides with a concrete
curb and gutter.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, man-
holes and catch basins.
As said Court, Street and Avenues are shown on Plat
recorded in Plat Book Forty-five (45) , page Forty
(40) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said Twenty-second (22nd ) Street and Park
Avenue are named and designated in Ordinance 232
and the said Washington Avenue is named and desig-
nated in Ordinance 303.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices andproceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest
during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any
other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceed-
ings and work herein Provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-11)15,
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Washington Court and Twenty-second (22nd) Street
and lying between Washington Avenue and Park
Avenue.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-)4)45, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District H-)i)15.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS DAY OF A.D. 1957.
