Resolution 9628 RESOLUTION NO . 9628 WHEREAS, pursuant to the mandate of the Florida Supreme Court, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida" ' and themaps attached thereto and made a part thereof, so as to remove from the "RAA" use classification, as therein defined, those certain parcels of land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as follows, to wit: Lots 15, 16 and 17, and Lots 20, 21 and 22 of INDIAN BEACH CORPORATION' S SUBDIVISION, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 8 at page 61 of the public records of Dade County, Florida; and to include a strip off the easterly side of said land in the Two Story Cabana District and in an appropriate area district and to include the remainder of said landin an existing or to be created appropriate area district and to include said land in an existing or to be created use district which will permit the use thereof for hotel, apartment and multiple family purposes and which will permit hote b pgqs4.g of two hundred (200) or more guest rooms to containtt © of owing service facilities, to wit: dance studios, barber shops, beauty shops, dining rooms, restaurants, coffee shops, tobacco, magazine, newspaper and drug sundry shops, and valet andmassage service utilities, with appropriate restrictions pertaining to the mode of ingress and egress thereto; to fix maximum percentages of occupancy for lot areas, and minimum floor area requirements, for said parcels of land; to include said parcels of land in an appropriate existing, or to be created, parking district; to fix the type of construction under the Building Code of the City of Miami Beach to be required of buildings and structures to be erected on said parcels of land; and to fix standards for permissible signs and lighting for buildings and structures to be erected and maintained thereon, and specifying the lot area required per family. NOW, TIREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 27thday of November, 1957, at 10:00 o' clock A. M, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendments . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directedto give fifteen (15) days' notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, published in the Miami Beach Sung -a newspaper of general circulation in said City.
