HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-1+48 DISTRICT H-448
BE IT RESOLVED BY TILE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is hereby
ordered to be made, the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-148 Alley between Jefferson Avenue and Michigan Avenue from
Ninth (9th) Street to Tenth (10th) Street to be paved
and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of
Twenty (20) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on an
eight (8) inch compacted rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basins.
As said Alley, Avenues and Streets are shown on Plat re-
corded in Plat Book Two (2), Page Eightyone (81) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Jefferson Avenue and Michigan Avenue are named and de-
signated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and an Estimate of the
cost thereof, including an Estimate of the Cost of the expenses of pre-
liminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the
work, the preparation of Plans and Specifications and Estimates, the print-
ing and publication of Notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc., and any
other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each
front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such
Improvement is hereby designated as District H-448 and is described as
follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the Alley
between Jefferson Avenue and Michigan Avenue and lying
between Ninth (9th) Street and Tenth (10th) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-448, and the property against which assess-
ments theref or may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-14-8.
