HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-454 Seventy-sixth (76th) Street from Dickens Avenue
to Collins Avenue to be paved, and where hereto-
fore paved to be repaved to a width of thirty-nine
(39) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on a
ten (10) inch rock base, and improved on both sides
with concrete curb and gutter.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins.
As said Street and Avenues are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one
(41) and Flat Book Thirty-one (31) , Page Forty (40)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Street and Avenues are named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H- 454 ,and
is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Seventy-sixth (76th) Street and lying between
Dickens Avenue and Collins Avenue.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-454, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-454 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4th DAY OF February, A.D.1959 .
