Resolution 10111 RESOLUTION NO. 10111
WHEREAS, one of Miami Beach's most beloved
friends, Arthur Godfrey, has just gone through
a dread operation for cancer, and
WHEREAS, the splendid news of his strong
recovery and eventual return to good health is
now reported, and
WHEREAS, the entire citizenry of Miami
Beach will continue to pray for his full and
complete recovery and continued good health,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council that Miami Beach shall tender to Arthur
Godfrey its deepest and warmest expression of
thankfulness for his well being.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on the 6th day of May,
A. D. 1959.
