Resolution 10202 RESOLUTION NO. 10202 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the proposal of Halsey, Stuart & Co. Inc, and Associates, as submitted by J. P. Higley, for all of the bonds specified in said proposal, which bonds were authorized by the City Council in Resolution No. 10138, passed and adopted on June 17, 1959, is hereby determined to be the highest and best bid received for all of said bonds, said proposal being in the words and figures following: I. PROPOSAL FOR BONDS October 7, 1959 City Council of the City of Miami Beach,Florida Advertisement and Blank Gentlemen: For $75,000 City of Miami Beach, Florida, Series 1, Proposal "1959 Storm Sewer Bonds", as described in the attached noticd of sale, which is hereby made a part of this bid, we will pay for 3 3/14 % bonds Seventy Three Thousand Eighty Seven and 43/100 Dollars ($73,0 870431 accrued interest to date of delivery. We enclose herewith certified or bank cashier's check in the amount of 2% of the par value of bonds bid for, made payable to the City of Miami Beach, which en- closure is to be returned to us if this bid is not accepted, but otherwise to be deposited by said City and when the bonds are delivered and paid for under the terms of this bid, to be considered as an advance part payment there- for, or it is to be retained by said City as and for liqui- dated damages in case the undersigned fails to take up and pay for said bonds in accord herewith.
