RESOLUTION NO . 10280
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has been advised that UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI
desires to lease the premises and facilities of the Miami
Beach Auditorium and Exhibition Hall for the purpose of
basketball series on December 3, 1959; December 5, 1959;
December 14, 1959; December 19, 1959; January 23, ; 960;
January 29, 1960; February 22, 1960; February 27, 1960 in the
Auditorium, and on January 2, 1960; February 11, 1960 and
February 18, 1960 in the Exhibition Hall;
and
WHEREAS a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium and Exhibition Hall Manager and approved as to form
by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement,
and deems it to be for the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above described lease agreement on behalf of the City of
Miami Beach, and that the Auditorium and Exhibition Hall Manager
is hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms
and provisions undertaken therein by the City.
