HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-480 H-480
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Section 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-480 Alley between Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue from Seventy-
fifth (75) Street to Seventy-sixth (76) Street to be paved
and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of twenty
(20) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on an eight (8)
inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets , manholes
and catch basins .
As said Alley, Avenues and Streets are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book Thirty-one (31) , Page Forty (40) and
Plat Book Eight (8) ,Page Forty-one (41) of the Public Re-
cords of Dade County, Florida and as said Seventy-fifth
(75) Street and Seventy-sixth (76) Street are named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof , including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings ,
the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal services ,
abstracts etc . , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conduct-
ing the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-480, and is des-
cribed as follows :
All the lots or parcels of land abutting on the Alley
between Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue and lying
between Seventy-fifth (75) Street and Seventy-sixth
(76) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-!1.80, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-480.
PASSED and ADOPTED THIS 1st DAY OF July, A.D. 1964.
